My good friend Lisa and I decided that we wanted to go on a double date. So we asked the boys and planned the whole thing. Lisa knew of this Hike in Calabasas where you end up at a water hole with a damn and rope swing, so we did that. We packed lunches for the boys and even threw in a little prize bag with their lunch. 
The hike wasn't that bad at all and the weather was perfect. The water ended up being way cold and the rope swing was a thin rope that no one could use. We all got in the water anyway. The water was really deep so you have to tread water the whole time. Everyone swam around for a while then we all held on to the side of the damn and talked. After we spent sometime in the water, we got out and gave the boys their amazing lunches(Pb&j sandwiches, chips, and a cookie).
When we were done we continued on the trail to the old MASH film site. It was kinda cool, they have old rusty jeeps and papers that talk about MASH. 
The hike was really fun. It was just nice to be out doors in nature. We even saw quite a few lizards running around on the ground. It was a long day but a memorable one for sure.
